Elana Wu, Registered Massage Therapist (Richmond BC) (co-founder of ClinicTherapy.com)
Elana Wu is a Registered Massage Therapist in Richmond BC (RMT Richmond) specializing in clinical massage to treat chronic conditions. She is a former RMT massage college instructor with well over a decade of experience. On her quest to become the best RMT in Richmond and Vancouver BC she dedicated over $30,000 on learning from the best therapists in the USA on her continued education and Elana takes new classes every month to learn more about the human body to further improve her skills (she often spends 3 - 4 hours every day learning about new ways of treating the human body).
Before increasing her price above the standard range she was so over booked here at RMT Richmond BC that clients had to wait for over 3 months to get an appointment. To keep herself available to new clients the price is kept at a level where new patients can get an appointment in 2 - 6 weeks. Elana does not offer direct billing to prevent her price from increasing even further. It is not suggested to book Elana if you have no pain and are only looking for a relaxation massage.
Elana Wu has a diploma in Massage Therapy from the West Coast school of Massage Therapy. Elana is also a Chartered Herbalist, trained at the Dominion Herbal College.
She has a Bachelor in Holistic Health Sciences from the International Quantum University for Integrative Medicine. Elana’s dedication to continuous learning attracts therapists that also want to continually improve and not get complacent with their treatments.
Her mom holds a Guang Zhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Of China Ph.D. Degree, Elana was influenced by her mom to go into health care as she saw how patients would get better when her mom would treat them - Elana was very impressed and wanted to do the same.
